I’ve always wanted any of the bath & body works collection. Like really want it cause my inner me is suddenly, out of nowhere, addicted to the lovely fragrance. But since their store is not available here in my town, the nearest I can go is to Kuching. But unfortunately due to this crazy pandemic, memang sik dapat lah mok ke sia.
Purchasing them online just seems so wrong. Not being able to touch them or even smell the scents is just crazy. Unless you repurchase the same one then it’s ok. But for a first-timer? Like who the hell would risk a penny to get a perfume without being able to sniff sniff it first? What if the smells are too strong or just something you don’t like?
Well disebabkan rachun tiktok, I dare myself to buy it online. Again. Yes, online and again. Without being able to smell them. So I literally got myself two body mist and two body lotions! I had to google all the names that caught my attention and find out what it smells like through descriptions from Bath & Body Works website and also from people’s reviews. Gosh! I can’t even make a decision! Even the name of each product is intriguing! Bravo BBW for making such a pretty name for your products!
Cactus Blossom is my first purchase of BBW mist. I got it from a personal shopper that let go of everything at a promo price. Being a crazy fella who suddenly addicted to scents, I texted her immediately saying I wanna purchase that! Tapi dalam hati sebenarnya pasrah jak mun bau nya sik best. She only got two body mist available by that time so yeah, less presurre for me to pick which one should I take home with me.
Surprisingly as in my opinion, the smell is nice! It’s not too strong and I love it! Lol, I actually stumbled upon a review that claimed Cactus Blossom smells like grandma. But nah, why should I bother over that one bad review when other reviews stated that the smell is good? #akukanmejal
Well, surely one is not enough. I’m a fragrance addict so I must have more ha-ha! I bought another 3 items from my next Bath & Body Work. Oppss! You know what, I slightly feel like buying perfume online is a bit like gambling. Cause you are tossing your coin on the table while not knowing what will you get in return.
But I never regret my choice. And it’s proof that I am good at choosing items! I managed to grab A Thousand Wishes Body Lotion, Gingham Body Lotion, and so-called limited edition Champagne Toast. And making myself broke at the same time lol.
My top favorite is Gingham scent cause it has this soft smell that lets your body relax and reminds you that serenity does exist! I mostly use them before sleep and it’s really a game-changer for me. A Thousand Wishes is quite strong to me but still, it smells soooo good. How can you not love ’em?! As for Champagne Toast, I think it’s too fruity. When it comes to perfume, the one with fruity fragrance is my least favorite. But it’s not really that bad though. Macam bau orang lepas mandik macam ya. Jadi mun kau rasa malas mok mandik kau pancit ajak dari atas sampe debah. Settle! Mesti orang puji kau wangi waima kau tek sebenarnya bau langsang. Ha-ha.
I would say Bath & Body Works product is absolutely worth it! Their candles are on my wishlist. But being the forgetful person I am, I’d rather buy the wallflower plugs! I love love love super love good smells! I used to think that wearing perfume after a shower or before sleep is weird but nah, it has become a routine to me! I really can’t wait to pay a visit to their store and grab all those lovely fragrance. If I could drink em, I’d definitely will. Why not? Spread bauan wangi instead of bau angit! LoL
